Source has joined Zapmap as a payment partner, giving EV drivers another way to pay at the charging company’s ultra-rapid charging hubs across the UK.
Zapmap users can add a credit or debit card to their account and use it to pay for EV charging, providing a simple way to pay across over 80,000 chargers across more than 50 networks from within the familiar Zapmap app, or with a tap of the Zapmap charging card.
Source plans to open 300 ultra-rapid charging hubs across the UK and Ireland by 2030. All hubs feature at least 150kW chargers, allowing drivers to add substantial range in around 15 minutes for most vehicles.
Every Source hub is built around a 99%+ uptime target, backed by smart monitoring and real-time availability updates so drivers can check a charger’s status before arriving. Sites are powered by renewable energy and support contactless payment as standard.

The partnership adds to the growing number of ways Source is making public EV charging easier for drivers, from its network of roaming partners to the SourceConnect app, which lets users locate available hubs in real time, start a charge by scanning a QR code, and track their session live.
