Clean transport infrastructure provider Aegis Energy has announced a three-year commercial partnership with Corpay, the company behind fleet payment brand, Allstar.

The partnership will allow Allstar’s fleet customers to access Aegis Energy’s network of clean energy hubs with competitive charging rates and simple, consolidated payment through Allstar Chargepass and its EV charging cards.

The new collaboration combines Aegis Energy’s charging infrastructure with Allstar’s streamlined payment processes for fleet operators.

Allstar’s customers will be able to charge at Aegis Energy’s sites either by booking ahead or on a plug-and-go basis. The three-year agreement ensures long-term price certainty for operators, aiming to support better planning and operational efficiency, it said.

The partnership will also advance Allstar’s development of the Allstar Commercial Charging Payment Network, an integrated charging ecosystem for commercial vehicles, combining access to public and semi-private infrastructure designed for larger vehicles.

Aegis Energy’s network aims to expand to 30 hubs by 2030.

Michael Shaw, CEO of Aegis Energy, said:

“We are delighted to announce this partnership with Corpay and create a seamless electric charging and payment process for Britain’s fleets. Our collaboration will give operators greater flexibility, certainty and access to infrastructure designed specifically for commercial vehicles.

“The network that we are building, alongside partners like Corpay, will accelerate fleets’ transition to electric vehicles by bridging the gap between public charging and private depot infrastructure, giving fleets the confidence to electrify without needing to build their own charging estate.”

Tom Rowlands, Managing Director of Global EV Solutions, Corpay including UK brand Allstar, said:

“Aegis Energy’s purpose-built infrastructure is exactly the kind of addition that strengthens the Allstar Commercial Charging Payment Network. Operators need charging that is designed around the realities of commercial vehicle operations, including the right locations, the right infrastructure and the ability to access and pay for it without complexity. This partnership brings more of that together in one place.”

Lamech Solomon at Logistics UK, said:

“Access to dedicated charging infrastructure is vital to the critical transition that is underway in the UK’s freight sector. As organisations come together to ensure that decarbonisation progresses at pace, in a way that is viable for businesses , it is important that every stage of the recharging journey is made as seamless as possible.

“With this in mind, we are delighted to see Aegis Energy partner with Corpay to facilitate simple, consolidated payments at their growing national charging hub network. It is partnerships like these that will form the backbone of our national decarbonisation effort.”
