Transport + Energy has launched a Local Authority Advisory Board to complement its editorial board, providing expert commentary and support to the community.
The board includes a number of experts from across the country, and represents key elements of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure industry, including fleets, business management, project leads and EV charging managers.
Representatives on the board come from Scotland, the North of England, the Midlands, London, Wales and the South of England.
A full list of the board can be found here.
Board members share practical experience of implementing net zero strategies, highlight the challenges and opportunities facing local authorities, and help ensure our work reflects real-world priorities.
Their input helps to shape our content, inform our events, and strengthen the relevance of our offering to the public sector.
Working alongside our Editorial Advisory Board, this group plays an important role in guiding our strategic development. Together, the two boards create a more connected, collaborative approach – supporting better alignment between policy, industry and delivery as the transition to net zero accelerates.
Speaking about the new board, Founder and Editorial Director of Transport + Energy, Alec Peachey, said:
“I’m delighted to announce the creation of the Local Authority Advisory Board.
“The group will play an integral part in our strategic development alongside the Editorial Advisory Board, and enable T+E to accelerate its content and support in line with the needs of the two sectors.
“I look forward to working with the members of the board as well as our continual work with the Editorial Advisory Board to develop Transport + Energy’s core offering and objectives as we enter a critical phase in the decarbonisation of the industrry.”
