Belfast-based electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure company Weev has announced a new partnership with British Gas to deliver home EV charger installations across Northern Ireland.
The partnership will see Weev act as the Northern Ireland installation partner for British Gas, supporting its customers as they make the transition to electric vehicles.
Through this collaboration, homeowners will have access to home charging solutions, backed by local expertise and support from Weev’s team of installers and engineers.
As the EV market continues to grow, home charging has become one of the most important parts of the driver experience, the firm said, offering “convenience, cost savings and the confidence that comes with charging overnight”.
Thomas O’Hagan, Chief Commercial Officer at Weev said:
“Home charging is one of the key components for EV drivers making the switch and plays a huge role in the development of our industry. At Weev, we are passionate about extending the network right across the country, whether that is at home or out on the road with public charging.
“We are very proud to have been selected as British Gas’ Northern Ireland partner and look forward to bringing high quality home EV charger installations to their customers.”
Caroline McCoy, National Operations Manager at British Gas added:
“We’re committed to making the switch to electric vehicles as easy as possible for our customers. Partnering with Weev allows us to offer a trusted local installation service in Northern Ireland, one that shares our values of reliability, sustainability and exceptional customer care.
“Together, we’re helping households charge smarter and drive cleaner.”
