This year’s ENA Energy Innovation Summit is set to be one of the biggest ever, the association has announced.

According to the ENA, hundreds of delegates already confirmed, 45 exhibitors, more than 30 case studies being discussed and a record number of innovation projects being showcased in our dedicated ‘poster’ exhibition, with project teams on hand to discuss their work. It will be “an exceptional showcase for cutting-edge projects from across the UK’s energy networks”, the association added.

The Summit, for which Transport + Energy is a media partner, is positioned as the sector’s opportunity to come together, learn about the latest ideas and get updates on the key issues in energy innovation.

People responsible for creating new technology, project leaders of top-performing schemes and experts will discuss how innovation is helping deliver on the Government’s Clean Power 2030 ambitions and shape the future of UK’s grid.

The event this year is also evolving the structure of the Summit with ‘fireside chats’ and in-depth technical sessions being offered alongside panel sessions focused on strategic design, flexibility, consumer empowerment and system resilience.

Speakers include Anna Carolina Tortora, Head of AI, Innovation & Energy Sector Digitalisation, NESO, Marzia Zafar, Deputy Director of Governance for Data & Digitalization, Ofgem and Helen Seagrave, Director, Great British Energy.

This year the Summit is being held at the Scottish Event Campus, in Glasgow, between 5-6 November 2025, bringing together companies of all sizes with an interest in the UK’s energy future.

Lawrence Slade, Chief Executive at Energy Networks Association, which represents the UK’s energy networks said:

“We are delighted that so many people and exhibitors are going to join us in Scotland this year.

“I’m looking forward to delegates engaging with technical experts, policy makers and industry leaders, as we look at how innovation is essential for making the Clean Power 2030 agenda a reality.”
