Independent connection provider (ICP) Sinewave has marked its ten-year anniversary with a major expansion.

The B Corp-certified firm has recently launched a new electric vehicle (EV) solutions business, which aims to “bring together the full value chain of its EV charging expertise into a single turnkey offering”.

The new venture, called Amplify, offers fleets, local authorities, public transport providers and charge point operators (CPOs) a “one-stop-shop” to design, implement and support every stage of EV charging infrastructure – from initial grid connection to final commissioning and ongoing maintenance.

The launch comes alongside new investment from Three Hills, through its sustainability-focused strategy: Three Hills Impact.

Investment will enable Sinewave to accelerate innovation and scale up its services and “address some of the UK’s most pressing energy infrastructure challenges”, the firm said, including integrating renewable energy generation, delivering high-capacity connections that power data centres, and national EV charging networks.

Stuart Douglas, Amplify co-founder and COO, said:

“There’s a lot of talk about what needs to happen to reach net zero, but the reality is that the UK faces real delivery bottlenecks.

“By uniting our skills and services under one new, highly focused business, we’re removing complexity, reducing project risk and helping our customers roll out EV infrastructure faster.”

Sinewave CEO Adam Woodley said:

“As the UK races to meet its net zero goals, Sinewave is turning talk into action and positioning itself as a key delivery partner to help industry, government and public service providers turn ambition into reality.

“With a track record in projects up to 400kV (kilovolts), and the ability to connect renewable energy, EV charging networks and Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, we’re poised to help shape the future of the UK’s energy landscape.”
