Financing and installation partner Plug me in has launched a new initiative called Plug me in Go.

The initiative offers a single bundle for the public and private sector to make the switch to electric vehicles. It offers EV charging technology, intelligent software, flexible funding, and comprehensive support in one streamlined package.

The company hopes it will make the switch to electric “simple and worry free” and will also minimise business disruption from the transition, it said.

It created the package with the understanding that downtime and charger reliability are “front of mind” for fleet operators, and “understanding the significance of uptime for fleets and busy depots”.

Identified through ‘on-the-ground’ experience working with partners and businesses, Plug me in Go has been built around the real-world needs of electric fleets.

Plug me in Go includes:

  • Full installation of AC and DC charge points and cover
  • Software – Plug me in Pulse – to give complete control over charge point usage, access and costs
  • Specialist support for fleets with Shield and Shield+ – providing planned maintenance coupled with highly responsive remote and on-site support to maximise uptime
  • Fully funded solutions to pay for Plug me in Go over time, leaving businesses to keep their capital for investment and growth

Kim Ratcliffe, Managing Director of Plug me in, said:

“Plug me in Go was built with one goal in mind: to take the hassle out of EV charging for fleet managers.

“We know that running a fleet is complex — tight schedules, cost pressures, and the need for reliability every single day. Transitioning to electric should make things easier, not harder. That’s why Plug me in Go is more than hardware. We keep your chargers running, your vehicles moving, and your drivers supported — all with smart insights, proactive care, and a team that understands what’s at stake.

“This is about more than electrifying transport — it’s about making the transition easier, smoother, and more resilient for the businesses powering our UK economy.”

The news comes as Transport + Energy gears up for its Fleet Electrification Forum next week on 9 July at Warwick Conferences. You can find out more about the event here.
