As part of this series, a new webinar in association with Zapmap Insights will take a close look at the issue of charge point utilisation with two of the biggest players in the ultra-rapid charging sector.
Through detailed case studies provided by industry leading firms GRIDSERVE and Fastned, the webinar seeks to explore the critical issues around utilisation at ultra-rapid charging sites, and how charge point operators (CPOs) manage, plan for and respond to the changes in utilisation across their network.
The webinar will include detailed insight into how charging data can be leveraged to inform investment decisions and strategic planning, and how to effectively and efficiently ensure the right chargers are provided in the right places, at the right time. In essence, the webinar will take a deep dive into how utilisation fluctuates over time , through specific examples from the two ultra-rapid CPOs featured.
Such data-rich insight is critical to the successful deployment of charging infrastructure across the UK, and the webinar will explore the variety of ways that CPOs are producing forward-thinking and far-reaching solutions as a result of their analyses.
In the post Open Data world, the practical examples from these CPOs will also highlight to listeners the critical impact of charge point utilisation data on their operations.
The webinar will feature:
- Co-chaired by James Evison, Content Manager for Transport + Energy and Jade Edwards, Head of Insights at Zapmap
- Rebecca Trebble, Chief Product Officer, GRIDSERVE
- Tom Hurst, UK Country Director, Fastned
Topics to be discussed include:
- Two separate case study examples of utilisation
- Using data to inform investment and strategic planning decisions
- How charging data is analysed to inform decisions
- A discussion on the future of utilisation and how data can be used to build a thriving public charging ecosystem
- An overview of Zapmap’s wealth of utilisation data
- A question and answer session with the webinar audience
