Electric vehicle (EV) charge point operator (CPO) Believ is opening an office in Edinburgh, Scotland as it expands across the UK.

The strategic expansion aims to reinforce Believ’s commitment to providing fully-funded EV charge point solutions to local authorities, businesses, and landowners throughout the country.

Through opening the Edinburgh office, the company said it strengthens the firm’s regional presence, joining the company’s established offices in London and Cardiff.

This expansion also follows its recent acquisition of SMS’ public EV charging business, which will also boost its regional presence as well as the its operational efficiency, while demonstrating Believ’s dedication to addressing Scotland’s growing demand for sustainable and accessible EV infrastructure.

Believ CEO, Guy Bartlett, said:

“We are delighted to open our Edinburgh office, marking an important milestone in our mission to deliver cleaner air for all. This new location allows us to better serve Scotland’s local authorities and businesses while providing convenient facilities for our staff and partners.

Whether grant-funded or not, our fully funded model ensures that infrastructure can be deployed near and beyond where our offices are located, and we are well-equipped to install all charging speeds depending on the location’s needs,” he says.

“As Scotland continues to lead the way in sustainability initiatives, our Edinburgh office highlights Believ’s commitment to working hand-in-hand with regional partners to build a robust, accessible EV network across the UK.”
