Ultra-rapid EV charging network InstaVolt has launched its first ultra-rapid charging site in the Republic of Ireland as part of its expanding international growth.
InstaVolt’s Irish launch is part of its ambition to install over 16,000 chargers across Europe by 2030 and become the continent’s largest ultra-rapid charging operator, it said.
The two 160kW ultra-rapid chargers installed at the Dublin restaurant can deliver an 80% charge in less than 20 minutes. Powered by 100% renewable energy, the chargers align with InstaVolt’s commitment to sustainability across its growing international network.
This latest development underscores InstaVolt’s broader commitment to international expansion with further chargers in the Republic of Ireland planned for McDonald’s locations in Newbridge, Letterkenny, and Maynooth by early 2025.
