Monta integrates with Tesla home charger
Danish operating platform Monta has announced its integration with Tesla’s home Wall Connector.
The move means corporate fleet clients can now capitalise on automatic home charging reimbursement for employees using the Tesla Wall Connector charge point through Monta’s technology.
It comes as the number of EVs in Europe and the UK surged by 50% between 2020 and 2023, reaching 14.8 million, with growth particularly in corporate fleets.
As a result, it is pushing businesses to replace traditional fuel cards with EV home chargers, allowing employees to be reimbursed for charging their company EVs in a domestic setting.
Monta has now seamlessly integrated its platform with Tesla’s Home Wall Connector hardware, enabling corporate customers an efficient employee charging reimbursement solution.
In addition to home charging reimbursement, corporate customers and their employees can also use Monta to access 500,000 public charging points across Europe and the UK.
Casper Rasmussen, CEO and co-founder at Monta, said:
“With six out of 10 new cars being company vehicles, businesses are increasingly seeking efficient solutions for employee charging reimbursement.
“We’re excited to integrate with Tesla’s Wall Connector which is one of the most popular models in the market. We’re making it easier to transition to electric vehicles and accelerating the green transformation across Europe and the UK.”
“Corporate cars account for 74% of emissions from new vehicles, making them a crucial area for reducing CO2. We’re proud to integrate with Tesla Wall Connector to deliver a solution that not only helps lower emissions but also streamlines the transition to electric vehicles for businesses.”
Alok Dubey, Regional Director, Strategic Sales – West at Monta, said:
“Automatic home charging reimbursement is a must-have for the industry in the UK and Ireland, where we have established ourselves as a market leading actor in just three years.
“This is a game-changer that significantly extends our value proposition.”
