Plug Me In to expand range of green energy solutions

Plug Me In, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) chargepoint and heat pump technology, will launch solar and battery services following the acquisition of Environmental Energies Limited (EEL).

Following the recent acquisition, Plug Me In cements its position as a leading provider of clean energy, offering smarter home and commercial solutions for customers.

Marking the next stage in Plug Me In’s quest to demystify clean energy, the acquisition sees Plug Me In uniquely positioned as a provider of comprehensive integrated clean energy systems across heat pumps, battery, solar, and EV.

With solar and battery working to capture and store electricity, the resulting supply can be utilised by businesses and homeowners to power heat pumps and electric vehicle charging, reducing energy bills long term. Together, these technologies present sustainable solutions for businesses and homeowners looking to move to smarter, cleaner energy.

Committed to making sustainable energy accessible and hassle-free for businesses and homeowners, the acquisition of EEL introduces an expanded team of clean energy experts to Plug Me In, including those with a track record in battery and solar services. Like Plug Me In, EEL has extensive knowledge and experience in energy saving solutions, carbon reduction and construction, and pride themselves on exceptional service, driving energy savings, and supporting customers in their bid to become more environmentally responsible.

Founded in 2011 and based in the Midlands, EEL provides a nationwide service and is a trusted provider of residential and commercial energy infrastructure services, including solar power and battery storage capabilities.

Like Plug Me In, EEL has extensive knowledge and experience in net zero energy infrastructure solutions and carbon reduction products.

Plans are underway to develop new supporting services for battery and solar, to meet the diverse needs of Plug Me In’s customers and increase accessibility, with innovative financing options and subscription services offering long-term peace of mind. Leveraging its existing infrastructure, expertise, and commitment to innovation, Plug Me In aims to make switching to clean energy simple and hassle-free.

Kim Ratcliffe, Managing Director of Plug Me In said:

“Plug Me In is focused on pioneering innovative solutions that accelerate a clean energy transition. With the acquisition of EEL and introduction of its experienced solar and battery technicians, we can accelerate the adoption of clean energy technologies, providing seamless integration with our existing heat pump and EV infrastructure offerings. Our combined expertise will help individuals and businesses to embrace more sustainable practices, helping them on their journey towards net zero.”
