BYD partners with UEFA on EURO 2024

Chinese EV firm BYD has become the official e-mobility partner of the UEFA European Football Championship 2024.

The partnership with UEFA marks the first-ever sponsorship deal with a new energy vehicle manufacturer in the Championship’s history and was undertaken as part of the football body’s sustainability plans.

As a partner of the Euros, BYD will provide electric vehicles to various stakeholders throughout the tournament in Germany, which runs from 14 June to 14 July.

BYD will also showcase its latest electric models and technologies at selected Euros venues, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to greener and more intelligent vehicle solutions to customers and thousands of football enthusiasts. Additionally, it will have a presence at the official fan zones inviting fans to enjoy live match broadcasts.

Within each market, BYD will create a series of events and opportunities for customers, potential BYD customers and football fans to engage, enjoy and win experiences that this partnership. The manufacturer will also hold hundreds of events in BYD stores in countries across Europe to celebrate the partnership.
