Latest EV Café show to focus on motorsport

The next EV Café show will focus on EV Motorsport with this week’s edition being broadcast from the ITT Hub Exhibitor day in Farnborough.

The EV Café is all about sharing experiences on zero emission mobility by connecting the sector with industry experts and leaders from around the globe. It is also a place for Evangelists to meet up and discuss everything EV! A regular two-hour virtual breakout session takes place every three weeks, covering a wide range of topics across the whole mobility value chain.

Motorsport has always been the birth place of innovation for the automotive sector and the EV Café presenters will be talking to some of the leading players in this sector on Wednesday 19 May. The usual presenting team will be joined by the following guests:

Formula E Team Principal – Mark Preston. Mark is the Team Principal at DS Techeetah – the current world champions.

Formula E Driver – Alexander Sims. Alex is a Formula E Mahindra team driver and will be sharing his experiences as a racing driver at the pinnacle of motorsport!

eRally Motorsport Project Manager and FIA Rally co-driver Jean Hay. As well as being an electric car rally driver Jean is leading the way on passing training and insight on to the next generation. 

EV Pole to Pole Adventurer – Chris Ramsey. Chris holds world records and is the first person to take an electric vehicle and complete the Mongol Rally. He will speaking about tackling a south to north pole electric vehicle journey.

The EV Café will also be announcing some big sponsorship news on the show which takes place on Wednesday (19 May) between 12pm and 2pm. The team will be broadcasting the show live from the ITT Hub Exhibitor day in Farnborough. Register for the show here.
